Westlight Gallery
PATSEE'S own gallery was known as PAINT BOX GALLERY until recent years. It has been established for over thirty years and is one of the oldest galleries on the Oregon Coast. The building was originally a square tool shed and the family referred to it affectionately as "The Box". As it was gradually added to and remodeled it gained the gallery area and that, naturally, became the Paint Box Gallery.
PATSEE says "The name 'Westlight' was chosen because my studio is on the west side of our house facing the ocean and also because I prefer that soft, gentle, golden light in late afternoon. The West Light."
